Paul Louis Narcisse Grolleron (1848-1901)
Grolleron preferred in his painting battle scenes, portraits of military men and genre scenes from the army life. Skilled and quick master plying the brush, Grolleron professed this genre of realism in painting, which in the XIX th century replaces photographic news reports from battlefields.
